Naming and Christening Ceremony

On 7th of January 2010 in the premises of Buluard shipbuilding Industry EAD, an official naming and christening ceremony of 9 800-tones multipurpose ship NB 289 took place. She was given the name of Marciana and was christened by Kristina Zheleva.

The erection of the hull in the large dry dock commenced with the laying of the first block on 23rd February 2009. The ship was named and delivered in the presence of representatives of the state and local government. A speech was held by Mr. Dancho Simeonov – Varna Regional Governor and Mr. Borislav Gutsanov – Chairman of Varna City Council.
